How to Disappoint a Potter series :
I reclaim discarded and unwanted ceramic molds, pouring slip into their "perfect" forms only to scribble my own stories across them—a wonky sausage dog, a persistent bird—in classic blue-and-white and sometimes other colours.
These pieces are quiet rebellions: the industrial made intimate, the serious softened. The molds remember their past lives; my drawings insist on something new. The bird always comes back. The dog never fits.
And that’s the point.
